5th Grade
Currently at 5th grade, our students join the middle school department. Although leveling is done in the lower grades, it becomes much more intensive at 5th grade. Students are divided in classes by level and then challenged to reach above and beyond their own personal best. Beginning in 5th grade, students are offered a wide variety of diverse electives including Group Initiatives, T.V. Production, Cooking, Robotics, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Coding and many more. At this middle school level, students will join with hundreds of other students from local Lutheran schools, as everyone gathers at Trinity to participate in the Fine Arts Fest. Students use their God given talents to perform in one of the Fine Arts. By this stage of their development at Trinity, students are encouraged to refine their ability to embrace the uniqueness of self and others, to communicate dynamically, to live Christian values rooted in the Bible, and to employ a strong daily work ethic and a healthy competitiveness, both in and out of the classroom.
